Hersteller, die Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) einsetzen, arbeiten bereits in komplexen Umgebungen \u2013 mit mehreren Gesellschaften, Standorten und Prozessen, die nahtlos zusammenspielen m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n

Genau hier beginnt EDI h\u00e4ufig an Grenzen zu sto\u00dfen. Nicht unbedingt in offensichtlichen Fehlern, sondern in kleinen Inkonsistenzen, die sich im Laufe der Zeit aufbauen.<\/p>\n

Was als kleinere Probleme startet \u2013 etwa Transaktionen, die sich je nach Gesellschaft unterschiedlich verhalten, oder L\u00fccken zwischen Systemen \u2013 entwickelt sich schrittweise zu operativem Reibungsverlust, der mit dem Wachstum des Unternehmens immer schwerer zu beherrschen ist.<\/p>\n

Das\u00a0<\/span>Missverst\u00e4ndnis<\/span>: EDI\u00a0<\/span>ist<\/span>\u00a0\u201e<\/span>nur<\/span>\u201c\u00a0<\/span>Dokumentenaustausch<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

In vielen ERP-Implementierungen wird EDI als nachgelagerte Schicht betrachtet \u2013 das hei\u00dft, es wird eingef\u00fchrt, nachdem das Kernsystem bereits live ist. H\u00e4ufig wird es als standardisiert und wiederholbar angegangen, statt als etwas, das widerspiegeln sollte, wie das Unternehmen tats\u00e4chlich arbeitet. Diese Annahme kann in einfacheren Umgebungen funktionieren. In FSCM gilt sie nicht.<\/p>\n

In der Fertigung ist EDI mehr als Dokumentenaustausch. Es h\u00e4ngt daran, wie Auftr\u00e4ge erf\u00fcllt werden, wie Sendungen strukturiert sind und wie Transaktionen \u00fcber Gesellschaften hinweg laufen. Wenn EDI diese Prozesse nicht abbildet, treten Probleme auf.<\/p>\n

Wo Probleme sichtbar werden<\/h2>\n

Wenn EDI nicht zu FSCM passt, zeigen sich die Symptome nicht als Systemausf\u00e4lle. Stattdessen \u00e4u\u00dfern sie sich in kleineren operativen Unstimmigkeiten, die im Laufe der Zeit zunehmen.<\/p>\n

Typische Beispiele sind:<\/p>\n

  • Dieselben Transaktionen werden je nach Gesellschaft unterschiedlich verarbeitet<\/li>\n
  • Sendungen werden falsch geroutet oder falsch gekennzeichnet<\/li>\n

    Einfache Mapping-Fehler sind selten die Ursache. H\u00e4ufiger weisen diese Symptome auf eine tiefere architektonische Diskrepanz hin \u2013 zwischen der Struktur von FSCM und der Art, wie EDI implementiert wurde.<\/p>\n

    Warum Standard-EDI-Ans\u00e4tze in FSCM nicht funktionieren<\/h2>\n

Rechtliche Einheiten k\u00f6nnen unterschiedliche Prozesse haben, Werke folgen teils anderer Produktions- und Fulfillment-Logik, und Lager ben\u00f6tigen oft eigenes Routing sowie spezifisches Compliance-Handling.     Wenn EDI-Modelle versuchen, diese Struktur zu stark zu vereinfachen oder zu standardisieren, sind L\u00fccken unvermeidlich. Diese L\u00fccken verschwinden nicht \u2013 sie verlagern sich in manuellen Aufwand zur Kl\u00e4rung. Operative Teams \u00fcberbr\u00fccken dann die Kluft, oft ohne Einblick in die eigentliche Ursache.<\/p>\n

      Einzeln betrachtet wirken diese Themen oft beherrschbar. Im gro\u00dfen Ma\u00dfstab verst\u00e4rken sie sich jedoch schnell und sind dann nur schwer wieder zu entwirren.<\/p>\n

      So vermeiden Sie EDI-Probleme in Dynamics 365 FSCM<\/h2>\n

      F\u00fcr Hersteller, die FSCM nutzen, kann EDI nicht einfach als Add-on behandelt werden. Es muss als Erweiterung der operativen Architektur selbst gestaltet werden \u2013 das bedeutet, es auszurichten an:<\/p>\n

      • Strukturen der rechtlichen Einheiten (Legal Entities)<\/li>\n
      • Routing-Logik auf Werk- und Lagerebene<\/li>\n
      • Intercompany-Vertriebsprozesse<\/li>\n

      • Zuk\u00fcnftiges Wachstum \u00fcber Tochtergesellschaften und Akquisitionen hinweg<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Wenn EDI darauf ausgerichtet ist, wie das Unternehmen arbeitet, unterst\u00fctzt es Skalierung und Konsistenz. Wenn nicht, erzeugt es Reibung, die im Laufe der Zeit zunimmt.<\/p>\n

        FSCM wird h\u00e4ufig gew\u00e4hlt, weil es Komplexit\u00e4t beherrschen kann. Wenn EDI jedoch nicht nach demselben Standard aufgebaut ist, kann es den Nutzen begrenzen, den das ERP eigentlich liefern soll.<\/p>\n
