The impact of COVID-19 on all our lives is unprecedented. Whilst we are sadly still very much in the midst of the virus, many people’s thoughts are already turning to what the world will look like post COVID-19.

With almost every aspect of our lives changing during the lockdown, from our hobbies, to the food we eat, and how and where we shop, it is highly likely that life will never be quite the same again.

As Kathleen McLoughlin, Senior Supply Chain Analyst Consumers at IDG discussed in a recent article, consumers who wouldn’t normally shop online or utilise services such as click and collect, have been forced to do so during this period of lock down and have subsequently discovered the convenience that such channels provide. There is a strong possibility that for many consumers this will be a permanent change to their shopping habits and this offers a real opportunity.

Whilst the current priority for many businesses is understandably survival, for others they are already considering how they should position themselves for life after COVID-19. We’ve been helping our clients do both here at TrueCommerce.

We’ve been working with a number of manufacturers and wholesalers to quickly ramp up their online presence by connecting to online marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay and implementing their own eCommerce storefronts, whilst helping retailers increase the flexibility of their supply chain by enabling drop ship suppliers.

If you are interested in discussing how we can help you cope with the challenges you face due to the ‘new normal’ of COVID-19 lockdowns or how we can help you prepare to bounce back after the lockdown ends, please contact us. Alternatively further information on the service TrueCommerce provide can be found here.
