We are delighted to announce that we won B2B eCommerce Website of the Year and Food and Drink eCommerce Website of the Year together with our client Matthew Clark at last week’s UK eCommerce Awards.

The awards are judged by experts across the ecommerce industry and recognise exceptional performance and service delivered by businesses to their consumers. To be nominated for any award is a privilege but to take home awards in two categories exemplifies the best in breed B2B functionality delivered by our team of dedicated experts.

At TrueCommerce we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver enterprise grade solutions to some of business’s biggest brands and enable them to deliver a consistently excellent service to their customers. During the Food and Drink eCommerce Website of the Year category round the judges stated that Matthew Clark Live “UI is super strong, sleek, considered, and easy to use” and that the teams had gone “to great lengths to improve the experience for customers”.

TrueCommerce was nominated for 3 of the 4 shortlisted places in the B2B eCommerce Website of the year award through our work with Matthew Clark, Everards Brewery and Monitor Audio. We are delighted with all 3 nominations but it was our partnership with Matthew Clark that secured the prestigious award, with the judge being “Impressed with the data which illustrated the benefit to both the business and customer in the ecommerce platform.”

“We are thrilled to be recognised for our work in delivering a first class ecommerce platform for Matthew Clark.” said Andrew Robathan, Managing Director of Ecommerce at TrueCommerce Europe. “The awards validate our ability to deliver enterprise class eCommerce solutions that enable our clients to extend their ecommerce platform far beyond just selling online and we look forward to deepening our strategic relationship with Matthew Clark as we continue to help them deliver their fast moving and constantly evolving digital strategy.”

In 2019 alone, sales on B2B ecommerce sites and marketplaces jumped 18.2 per cent to reach $1.3 trillion, outpacing the B2C sector, according to Digital Research 360. The emergence of COVID-19 has inevitably accelerated the pace of this change in 2020 with less B2B sales taking place in the physical realm and businesses seeking greater efficiencies.
