graze selects Wesupply’s EDI managed service

Coventry, 4th August 2015: Wesupply, a leading provider of outsourced business-to-business integration services, today announced that graze, the online subscription snack business, has signed an agreement for Wesupply’s EDI managed service.

Due to its traditional trading model of delivering direct to customers, graze had no previous requirement for EDI and therefore, no experience in its use. However, after securing a place on the shelves of major retailers’ including Boots and WH Smith with the launch of its Good to Go range, graze required a solution that could meet the retailers’ EDI requirements whilst providing a solid platform on which to build upon.

“We were not setup to trade electronically with retailers and we knew we wanted a solution that was quick to implement and would provide the functionality we were after.” said Mark Fordyce, Retail Supply Chain Manager, graze. “After doing some market research, Wesupply’s fully managed service really stood out due to the company’s reputation in the Grocery sector. Importantly Wesupply are able to provide us with the flexibility we need as we expand into the traditional retail market.”

Wesupply’s Web EDI solution gives graze the ability to be up and running quickly and easily without having to deal with an initial systems integration, allowing the company to focus on the physical fulfilment of goods, which is particularly important since this model is new to graze. As Wesupply’s EDI service is fully scalable, graze will have the flexibility to migrate to Wesupply’s fully integrated EDI solution as volumes increase.

“We are delighted to welcome graze to the Wesupply network and assist the company in its expansion into bricks and mortar stores.” said Matt Wilcock, Senior Sales Executive, Wesupply. “With connections to all the major retailers, we have the knowledge and experience to provide a solution that will meet graze’s current and future EDI requests.”
