From early pioneers in EDI to today’s connected global network, we’ve built a platform designed for speed, scale, and sustainability. We’re present on four continents, and ready for what’s next.

1983

In Germany, the company that would eventually be acquired by TrueCommerce, was founded as GLI Gesellschaft für Logistik und Informationssysteme mbH. The company focused from the very beginning on the digitalisation and automation of business processes in the areas of logistics and data exchange. The company developed the world's first EDIFACT converter and played a central role in the coordinated introduction of the EDIFACT standard across Europe. This established GLI early on as a technological pioneer in electronic data interchange between companies.

1995

TrueCommerce opens in 1995 with singular focus on simplifying supply chain by offering simple North American based EDI solution​.

2006

The german-based company that would eventually be acquired by TrueCommerce, GLI, was acquired by Client Computing A/S and renamed Client Computing Germany GmbH. The Norwegian parent company was one of the leading technology and EDI providers in the energy, telecommunications, retail, and logistics sectors, and operated as a technology supplier for major hardware and software manufacturers, data centers, energy service providers, and energy exchanges.

2011

The company that would eventually be acquired by TrueCommerce, Client Computing, became part of the Compello Group through a merger with the Norwegian company Compello AS. In Germany, the company operated going forward as Compello GmbH, headquartered in Munich. Compello GmbH successfully positioned itself as a provider of a solution proven thousands of times over in the German mid-market for the exchange and processing of electronic data.

2013

TrueCommerce merged with Accellos to form a larger EDI network, and add new geographies and access to capital to fuel M&A strategy​.

2015

TrueCommerce acquired WeSupply to enable ability to serve retail hubs and Nexternal to offer customers B2B eCommerce capabilities in NA regions​.

2016

TrueCommerce acquired supply chain network company, HighJump, which had 29 years’ supply chain software experience in Denmark and 17 in the UK prior to acquisition.

2017

TrueCommerce acquired Datalliance adding Vendor Managed Inventory capabilities for Enterprise MFGs.

2018

The company that would eventually be acquired by TrueCommerce, Compello GmbH, was acquired by DiCentral. For DiCentral, the merger represented a strategic entry into the European market, while customers in Germany benefited from a significantly expanded solution portfolio. The DiCentral portfolio complemented the existing EDI platform optimally.

2019

TrueCommerce acquired ecUtopia to establish deep presence in the home furnishings industry and Netalogue to add enterprise B2B eCommerce capabilities in our EMEA regions.

2020

TrueCommerce acquired B2BGateway expanding it;s network and adding new geographies​; Recapped business with new capital partner WCAS to fuel next stage of growth

2021

TrueCommerce acquired DiCentral adding the Nordic and DACH regions to fortify it's Pan-EU network and to expand it's trading partner community and depth in the automotive industry. The acquisition cemented TrueCommerce as a leading global provider of trading partner connectivity solutions, with a focus on B2B integration, EDI, API-based integrations, and omnichannel scenarios. TrueCommerce continues to operate as one of the largest global business networks for trading partner integration, with hundreds of thousands of connected customers worldwide.

2022

TrueCommerce expanded to AsiaPac to enhance our ability to serve our global customers.
