Oracle Ends Support for Selected ERP Versions – What Does This Mean for You?

Oracle continuously evolves its ERP systems and has announced important dates for the end of support for selected versions. These dates have been communicated well in advance, giving users time to plan their next steps. 

In this blog post, we provide an overview of which ERP versions Oracle has announced end-of-support for, when it will happen, and what your options are moving forward. 

ERP Versions with Announced End-of-Support:  

  • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 
    • Premier Support will be available until at least December 2036. 
  • Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 
    • Premier Support will be provided at least until 2035. 
  • PeopleSoft 
    • Support will continue until 2035, but Oracle recommends customers migrate to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. 

Cloud Is the Future 

Although there are still several years until support ends for the above ERP versions, Oracle recommends that customers begin planning an upgrade now. There are multiple options: you can choose to stay on an on-premises solution or upgrade to a cloud-based solution. 

To benefit from a modern and future-proof ERP experience, Oracle recommends that customers running JD Edwards and E-Business Suite start planning their transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.

  • Improved scalability to support your business growth 

Bring EDI to the table right away 

As soon as you begin planning your ERP system upgrade, it’s essential to also evaluate your EDI solution, as it may require updates to align with your new setup.
