THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled C# developer with experience in Azure to join our development team. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing our next generation cloud-based solutions using C# and the Azure platform. You will work within our development team to build scalable and high-performance applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications using C# and Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Write clean, well-designed, and maintainable code that is optimised for cost-effectiveness, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and debug issues in production and test environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to the development process.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Azure and C# development.

The Person

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in C# development.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure Cosmos Database.
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git, Postman and other development tools.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with front-end development technologies such as Angular.
• Experience of EDI and message broking in a supply chain environment.
