EDI Transformation at Ölmühle Moog: Moving from On-Premises to the Cloud

Ölmühle Moog GmbH is Europe’s first organic oil mill and a Franco-German, independent family business guided by strong values. Under the BIO PLANÈTE brand, around 160 employees produce more than 70 different cold-pressed organic oils – from staples like rapeseed and sunflower oil to gourmet products like walnut and pumpkin seed oil, and health-focused oils such as flaxseed and black cumin.

EDI Requirements

BIO PLANÈTE is the market leader in the organic specialist trade in both Germany and France. Since 2024, the company has also been offering its organic oils through selected full-range retailers to meet growing demand for high-quality, natural organic foods. To meet the requirements of retailers like REWE, EDEKA, and Globus, the EDI setup had to be modernised. The existing on-premises EDI solution, managed by a consultant, is being replaced with a modern cloud-based EDI solution.
