TrueCommerce Announces Certified Microsoft Dynamics NAV EDI Solution

TrueCommerce B2B collaboration solution enables Microsoft Dynamics NAV customers to leverage TrueCommerce cloud solutions and managed services to meet trading partner compliancy

Minneapolis. (Sept.20, 2016)—TrueCommerce, a HighJump company and a global provider of trading partner connectivity and integration solutions, has announced the availability of its EDI solution for Microsoft Dynamics NAV in the North American and European market. The new offering connects TrueCommerce’s global commerce network to Microsoft Dynamics NAV, a global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. TrueCommerce integrates EDI workflows for order-to-cash, procure to pay and logistics processes into NAV while managing trading partner connectivity and unique mapping requirements in TrueCommerce’s global commerce network.

“Microsoft Dynamics NAV has achieved critical mass globally and with continued innovation for this robust ERP platform, Microsoft is realizing sustained momentum in the market,” said TrueCommerce President Nick Manolis. “Microsoft has shifted to a cloud-first strategy which aligns well with the evolving needs of SMB organizations and TrueCommerce’s cloud-based commerce network.”

The combination offers NAV users the ability to leverage high availability and agile technology for trading partner collaboration without having to build their own solution or customize NAV. This offering will enable NAV customers worldwide – both suppliers and retailers – to connect seamlessly with their value chain partners and free up their resources to focus on other value added activities.

The solution has been vetted through the Certified for Microsoft Dynamics (CfMD) program. This rigorous process identifies third-party solutions that have met Microsoft's highest standards for Dynamics implementations. It assures that a certified solution was designed for a unique business and industry need, is low-risk, fast to implement, properly supported, protected and simple to maintain.

“We take great pride in delivering that extra level of confidence to our customers, by investing in the certification program,” said Manolis.

TrueCommerce’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV benefits include:
  • Single connection to NAV provides seamless access to the TrueCommerce global trading partner community including support for XML and global EDI data standards
  • End-to-End solution offering key system elements in one package (NAV integration, data translation, global trading partner network and managed services)
  • Certified for Microsoft Dynamics (CFMD) integration is embedded within Microsoft Dynamics NAV enabling business users to manage EDI processing within the native NAV environment
  • TrueCommerce’s managed services based approach shifts ownership of maintaining trading partner connectivity and mapping to our high availability cloud-based commerce network

The Microsoft Dynamics NAV integration is seamlessly connected to the TrueCommerce Global Commerce Network which includes over 10,000 pre-connected retailers, distributors and logistics service providers. A true managed services provider, TrueCommerce manages the onboarding process for new trading partners as well as the ongoing management of trading partner specific mapping and labeling changes.

TrueCommerce offers an end to end EDI solution for Dynamics NAV users while also providing a robust and highly adaptable solution, built to scale for new supply chain partners, document types and distribution models. TrueCommerce fully automates the process of receiving purchase orders into Dynamics NAV, as well as sending purchase order acknowledgments, receivable invoices, and other documents. TrueCommerce’s Dynamics NAV solution leverages common NAV components and settings where appropriate while extending NAV to include added process controls that support complex EDI workflows.
