October 27, 2023

In a previous blog post, we informed our readers that France’s B2G and B2B e-invoicing mandate had been postponed. As part of the new draft finance law published in October, a new timetable for the implementation of the e-invoicing in France has arrived.

This the current schedule:

2024: In the spring of 2024, the tax authorities in France will publish a list of approved service providers.

1st September, 2026: The first phase of implementation is scheduled to begin on 1st September, 2026 and will include large and medium-sized companies. At the same time, from this date on taxable companies in France must be able to receive e-invoices.

1st September, 2027: The second phase of implementation is planned for 1st September, 2027 and is targeted at small and micro enterprises.

The new finance law in France has not yet been adopted, so there may still be changes. As mentioned earlier, the plan has been changed before, so it is important for companies with business activities in France to keep up to date with changes and new dates.

When the requirements come into effect in France, we will be able to ensure that our customers can comply with them.
