November 16, 2023

The annual EMEA Direction4Partners Community event was held from November 1-3, 2023 in Lyon, France. Nearly 3,000 attendees from 803 companies and 70 countries gathered to meet, learn, and network around all things related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365BC).

410 sessions were offered: Jacques Vigneault, SVP Global Channels at TrueCommerce presented the new TrueCommerce xChange Partner Program . He also talked about how TrueCommerce’s end-to-end EDI solution for Microsoft Dynamics BC can help BC customers achieve their cloud and digitisation goals. We enjoyed a fully booked session with many of the partners committed to this topic.

What did we learn?

We would like to share our findings from the keynotes and sessions we attended:

  • Artificial Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence (AI) emerged as the star of the show. With real-world applications of AI and Co-pilot, attendees gained a deeper understanding of how these technologies are reshaping the business landscape. The promise of AI-driven productivity and insights was front and centre.
  • Become Cloud: Approximately 50% of BC customers aim to transition from on-premise solutions to cloud in the near future. EDI is a must and through this transition to the cloud, customers have an opportunity to also transition from legacy EDI tools to a true end-to-end EDI solution (BC integration + managed service network).
  • Directions toward the future: A clear outcome of this year’s Directions event for all participants is Microsoft’s focus on the future. New developments and new initiatives mean new challenges, but most importantly new opportunities for BC partners.

How can TrueCommerce help drive adoption?

TrueCommerce is an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) with a Microsoft certified integration to D365BC automating 20+ different EDI transactions with external trading partners. This means that Microsoft NAV or BC on-premise customers migrating to D365BC online do not have to develop these transactions as they did with Microsoft NAV.

Microsoft announced that they will help VARs to source consultants that are very hard to find these days. TrueCommerce’s end-to-end EDI can help make any ERP implementation easier and less time-consuming. We are excited to support our partners with our experience and professional support with the aim of getting the best solution for their customers. Contact us and join our partner program.
