Candy Kittens upgrade to Wesupply’s fully managed EDI service
Coventry, 10th December 2015: Candy Kittens, a producer of gourmet gummy candy, has selected OneTime, Wesupply’s fully managed EDI service, to trade electronically with its key customers.
Having previously used Wesupply’s web portal to trade with Sainsbury’s, when Candy Kittens received a further EDI requirement from Tesco, the company decided it was time to invest in Wesupply’s fully integrated solution to be able to fully benefit from true electronic trading.
“As the business continued to grow and expand into more retailers, we received several requests to trade via EDI.” said Charlotte Brask, Supply Chain Manager at Candy Kittens. “Having already been impressed by the level of service we’ve received, we knew that Wesupply could handle all of our requirements.”
Wesupply’s fully managed EDI service will allow Candy Kittens to consolidate its EDI onto a single platform, enabling the company to monitor and maintain the flow of all crucial messages. As a growing business, Candy Kittens will also benefit from being able to connect with new customers quickly and easily, enabling new EDI requirements to be met without having to lose focus on core business processes.
“With more and more companies requesting EDI as standard, a lot of suppliers have now started to look for an end-to-end EDI solution.” said Jerry Quinn, Sales Director at Wesupply. “Our fully managed EDI service enables companies to meet ever changing EDI requirements without having to do any of the leg work.”
