May 21, 2018

On May 9 we wrapped up our inaugural TrueCommerce Connections 2018 User Conference, where over 100 customers from across the globe converged in Cincinnati, OH to connect with event attendees, explore new TrueCommerce product offerings and grow the communities fueling their businesses. Across keynote speeches, breakout sessions and an encounter with Fiona the Hippo at the Cincinnati Zoo, Connections 2018 attendees had the opportunity to learn, network and achieve more with their VMI, EDI and eCommerce solutions.

Keynote speaker Kate Vitasek, creator of the groundbreaking Vested business movement and Professor at the University of Tennessee, shared great insights and stated, “The key to creating value is collaboration — transforming your transactional supplier relationships into win-win, value-creating business relationships.” That notion underpinned the theme of the event, “Forging a Digital Future,” as TrueCommerce customers learned how they can better collaborate with their partners and drive efficiencies across the supply chain.

It also fueled discussions surrounding the newly released TrueCommerce Foundry platform, a broad set of unified commerce services and apps that, through deep integration capabilities, connects customers, suppliers, channels, and systems. Regarding the solution, TrueCommerce President Ross Elliot said, “Amazon has changed the way we do business. In order to succeed, organizations need to collaborate across the supply chain — uniting logistics systems, marketplaces and storefronts in a single, frictionless platform.”

TrueCommerce was also excited to announce several new product offerings during the conference, including the TrueCommerce Price & Rebate Solution, and the TrueCommerce Unified Commerce Suite that provides multichannel merchants with Product Information Management (PIM) functionality and next generation B2B/B2C e-Commerce capabilities in one offering.

Over one and a half days, TrueCommerce Connections 2018 attendees participated in:

  • Over 25 customer breakout sessions and networking topic sessions
  • Invaluable networking opportunities during the Welcome Reception and a Keynote event at the Cincinnati Zoo
  • Customer spotlight sessions and hands-on product demonstrations
  • Expert speaker sessions covering such topics as Driving B2B eCommerce, VMI Innovation and Optimize and Expand Your Commerce Services Experience
  • Thought Leadership panel discussion with Jordan Jewell, Senior Research Analyst, IDC and Martda de la Gándara, Global Distribution Development Manager, SKF Europe

A big thank you to our customers who were able to attend, and look forward to seeing you all next year for Connections 2019!
