EDI for BradyPlus Valued Partners

BradyPlus is committed to streamlining business processes with all our vendors through EDI. Connect with BradyPlus through the TrueCommerce platform for fast, reliable EDI integration to exchange documents with ease.

Connect With BradyPlus

TrueCommerce has several connection methods available. If you already connect via EDI with other Retailers, TrueCommerce can set up an AS2 connection (our preferred method), a VAN connection, or FTP/SFTP connection.

If you are not capable of electronic exchange of data, TrueCommerce has an alternative option to connect using their portal solution. It is a user-friendly web portal where most of the information is already populated from the PO; therefore, very little data entry is involved.

BradyPlus requires the following documents be exchanged through the B2B platform of TrueCommerce:

  • 850 – Purchase Order
  • 855 – PO Acknowledgement
  • 856 – Advanced Ship Notice (ASN)
  • 810 – Invoices

BradyPlus Electronic Trading Initiative

Frequently Asked Questions

Review common questions regarding the BradyPLUS electronic trading initiative. Please read the entire section and refer to the last question in this section if you need further assistance.

BradyPLUS is improving their trading process through an electronic trading initiative. This will simplify and improve the way BradyPLUS conducts business with key suppliers. As a part of this initiative, suppliers are required to be able to exchange messages electronically via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is the computer-to-computer exchange of business documents in a standard electronic format between business partners. By moving from a paper-based exchange of business documents to one that is electronic, businesses can enjoy major benefits such as reduced cost, increased processing speed, reduced errors, and improved relationships. EDI replaces postal mail, fax, and email.

Yes, all suppliers are required to be able to send messages electronically to BradyPLUS via EDI by one of the two solutions offered for this initiative. Sending documents by paper, fax, or email will no longer be accepted after testing is successfully completed.

The document types that your organization will be requested to exchange electronically include:

From BradyPLUS

  • 850

From Vendor

  • 855
  • 856
  • 810

BradyPLUS wants to achieve 100% electronic trading (ordering through invoicing) with all suppliers by no later than July 1, 2025. Once in place, this will become a prerequisite of continued trading with BradyPLUS.

This EDI process covers all BradyPLUS locations within our main ERP application (P21) noted below. Please keep in mind that SEPG (June) and Waxie (August) will be fully migrated to P21 in 2025.
