Since its debut on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 1936, what is today called zMAX Micro-lubricant has been protecting engines, fuel systems, transmissions, firearms and more. Today the zMAX product line includes aerosols, sprays and racing oils in addition to the original products.
zMAX set out to enhance the digital buying experience for both B2C and B2B customers. At the same time, the team aimed to support their broader goal of integrating order management across sales channels including retail, eCommerce, and EDI. A core objective was finding a technology partner that could support this long-term omnichannel strategy with a connected platform.
zMAX extended their partnership with TrueCommerce by adding B2B eCommerce to their existing EDI integration. The new online storefront supports direct-to-consumer and dealer orders, while maintaining tight alignment with back-end processes and marketing initiatives. Leveraging Mailchimp integration, automated subscription ordering, and real-time reporting dashboards, the team streamlined operations across channels. Having a single vendor for both EDI and eCommerce enabled faster response times and tighter support during site and portal launches.
zMAX’s integrated solution gives them the flexibility to grow across channels without reinventing systems. As they expand their B2B presence, they plan to launch a new portal within TrueCommerce’s B2B eCommerce platform to support dealer ordering building on the same scalable platform that supports their D2C sales.
