Southern Automotive Conference

The Southern Automotive Conference, now in its 15th year, serves automotive industry associations, manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers based in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. It brings together roughly 2,000 influential industry leaders and hosts top-level content and discussions that introduce and explore the latest innovations and issues related to automotive manufacturing.

SAC attendees will have the opportunity to join a 60-minute panel session on “The Impact of Electric Vehicle Changes on the Automotive Supply Chain” with David Eyes and industry experts, focused on addressing key questions and challenges posed by the EV market.

The panel will cover the unprecedented changes facing the global automotive industry, from geo-political shifts to climate change challenges, to manufacturing hurdles like the global semi-conductor shortage. It will offer insights into how and why the EV market has come to the forefront of these issues, and what automotive companies can do to reap the benefits of an EV revolution.

EVs eliminate vehicle emissions, dramatically removing carbon footprints and fossil fuels, and reducing the complexity of achieving compliance with differing legislations. But this change doesn’t happen overnight.
