Walgreens requires all its vendors to either utilize a web-based supplier portal, or be EDI capable. A few of their specific requirements include:
- Vendors must be able to transmit data from purchase orders, ASNs, shipping labels, invoices, and payments.
- ASNs must be received by Walgreens at least four hours prior to delivery at a Walgreens distribution center.
- For direct-to-store deliveries, Walgreens must receive an ASN at least one hour before shipment arrival.
